On the first weekend of August, independent MP Ákos Hadházy organised a demonstration and excursion at the estate of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's father in Hatvanpuszta. The police and the employees of the residence did everything they could to prevent curious onlookers from seeing inside, so the participants peered in from ladders. But to make it even easier to decide whether the estate is being used for farming or luxury living, one of our readers took a drone video of the property. On Thursday, Hadházy published further evidence, which revealed that one of the buildings is definitely a residential house.
Since the publication of the drone video, we have attempted to clarify from the prime minister himself what economic activities are taking place on the Hatvanpuszta estate. However, Orbán did not respond substantively to our questions; instead, he directed the press to his father. However, Győző Orbán was also unwilling to share any details about Hatvanpuszta, responding to questions about the economic activities there with a simple "see you later" to 444.
Our previously published drone video about the Hatvanpuszta estate is now available with English subtitles.
